The private school admissions process can be highly competitive, depending on many factors including, the school to which a student is applying. Students/Parents who come to us for positioning into a private school usually understand that entry in a school at this stage is important on many facets for the student and their future trajectory. These years are formative periods of a student’s life as they gain knowledge of the possibilities around them as well as their own gifts and talents. In addition to continued positioning of a student’s file, our Admissions guidance walks the student and/or parent through the admissions processes at each juncture i.e., kindergarten, middle, high, college, professional school, residency and/or fellowship (if required). Getting into a private school is only one part of a much larger mission.

For private school admissions, testing and performance evaluations are most times required. The most common private school admissions tests are the SSAT and ISEE. Roman Catholic high schools generally use the COOP, HSPT and TACHS as their standardized admissions tests. Based on the student’s current performance and competitive profile, we research the schools and rank them based on the best match.

Another challenge in the admission process is admission committees have no way of knowing exactly what your child has or has not learned in her prior/current school including, after-school-care programs. Standardized test results level the playing field. They measure your child’s basic skills against known and accepted benchmarks. That’s why they are necessary. However, testing is only one part of the entire application.

There are a variety of placement solutions that are available to meet your and a student’s needs – from a single consultation, to step-by-step management of the school placement application and school admissions process.

Tailored student timelines are specific to the student and costs range depends on individual timelines and positioning. A typical private school package can start at $15300 and range to $25300 per semester* (*minimum semester(s) required) depending on the student’s needs and positioning needs – For example: Positioning for Ivy League schools must start early for best advantage and will require full-time engagement on our roster. Please note, not every student who comes to us for assistance gets a place on our full-time roster. It will depend on the students’/parents’ goals and the competitive profile advantage that we are able to assist in creating for the student. Endorsement from your consultant is required each school year to remain registered and in full-time status. Full trajectory with targeted career path including high schools/universities available for students who are in kindergarten through 5th grade. Partial trajectory available for students from 6th grade and higher.
